Also, da ich schon im letzten Post ein Tutorial zu einem meiner letzten Projekte gab, mache ich dies heute wieder. Ich habe einen Server in Trackmania erstellt.
Als ich erst mein Glück probierte und nach einem Tutorial ging hatte ich zwar zeitweise Erfolge zu verzeichnen, mein eigentliches Ziel, einen leufenden Server mit Xaseco (also mit local- und dedimaniarecords) zu erstellen blieb aber auf der Strecke... xD
Nach einem Tipp von einem anderen Clanmember (liebe Grüße ex :D) kam ich dann aber auf ein All-in-one-Paket mit einer Zusammenstellung aus allen benötigten Programmen, die bis auf die benutzerabhängigen Einstellungen schon fertig konfiguriert sind.

Zuerst sollte angemerkt sein, dass ich alles nur mit Trackmania United Forever getestet habe und mir mögliche Probleme bei der kostenlosen Variante des Spiels (Nations Forever) nicht bekannt sind.
Nach dem download des Zip-Archives sollte man alles daraus an einen geeigneten Ort extrahieren (möglichst nicht den Desktop, da ihr lieber später eine Verknüpfung erstellen könnt ;) ).
Von dort an kann man schlicht und ergreifend den Anweisungen der readme folgen (am leichtesten zu erreichen über den Start der AutoRun.exe und dortigen klick auf Punkt 1).
Da aber die gesamte Anleitung auf englisch gehalten ist und einige Vorkenntnisse erfordert, verfasse ich es hier erneut.
1. Serveraccount erstellen:
Gehe auf diese Homepage und logge dich mit deinen Benutzerdaten aus dem Spiel ein.
Gehe links in der Navigationsleiste auf "Dedicated servers" und fülle das erscheinende Textfeld mit deinem Multiplayer-Code aus (nur mit TMUF getestet).
Gebe einen beliebigen Server login ein (unwichtig für späteren Namen des Servers im Spiel) und ein dazu gehöriges Passwort, sowie die nächste größere Stadt in deiner Nähe.
2. Nun musst du 3 Dateien in dem Serverordner verändern. Dazu solltest du jene immer mit dem Editor (oder andere Textverarbeitungssoftware) öffnen.
2.1 "\TMF\server\GameData\Config\dedicated1_cfg.txt"
In dieser Datei musst du 4 Eingaben verändern:
1. Schreibe statt "YOURSERVERLOGIN" den auf der Internetseite vorher gewählten Server login in die Datei.
2. Tausche "YOURSERVERPASSWORD" gegen das zuvor gewählte Passwort aus.
3. Trage zwischen "
4. Änder den Namen des Servers in deinen Wunschnamen. Dabei kannst du auch die Sonderzeichen und Farbcodes benutzen, die in Trackmnia beim Nickname funktionieren!
2.2 "\TMF\control\xaseco_1\config.xml"
1. Tausche "YOUR_MASTERADMIN_LOGIN" gegen deinen login IM SPIEL aus (nicht der Server loggin)
2. Den Punkt aus der readme, die eigene IP einzutragen kann man überspringen! Entfernt einfach das "YOUR_MASTERADMIN_IP" und gebt keinen Wert ein.
2.3 "\TMF\control\xaseco_1\dedimania.xml"
1.Tausche "YOUR_SERVER_LOGIN" gegen deinen server login aus.
2. Tausche "YOUR_SERVER_PASSWORD" gegen das Server Passwort, welches du ebenfalls auf der Internetseite festgelegt hast.
3. Gebe anstatt "YOUR_SERVER_NATION" das Landeskürzel ein in dem du wohnst (Deutschland ist GER).
3. Nun ist es wichtig die benötigten Ports beim Router freizugeben.
Da es aber zu viele Router und ebenso Menüs derer gibt kann ich nicht alle erklären.
Bei der FritzBox funktioniert es so:
Gebe im Browser "fritz.box" ein und gehe auf den Menüpunkt "Freigaben". Dort erstellst du eine neu Freigabe. Für die Ports "2371", "3471" und "5071" werden jeweils eine UDP und eine TCP Freigabe benötigt.
Sollten all diese Punkte abgearbeitet sein, so könnt ihr euren Server über die "AutoRun.exe" starten. Ist die exe gestartet, so müsst ihr nur vom zweiten Punkt beginnend alle Punkte bis zum vierten aktivieren. Achtet dabei darauf, dass der jeweils vorherige Prozess fertig gelaufen ist, d.h. dass die jweiligen Anwendungen alle Daten geladen haben!
